03.03.2018

In March 2018, the Prometey company exported more than 70 thousand tons of grain and oilseeds. All product supply contracts were executed under the terms of CPT, FOB and CIF.

The goods were shipped to large-capacity vessels of the Handysize type and small-size vessels of the Coaster type from the ports of Berdyansk, Nikolaev and Odessa. The main crops in this period were corn, soy, barley, and wheat.
“A gradual increase in exports to Prometey has been observed over the past six months. At the same time, not only an increase in volumes is recorded, but also an expansion in the geography of exports. In particular, in 2018, Prometey entered the markets of Cyprus and Lebanon. In March, more than 70 thousand tons of grain were sold in the markets of 4 countries. In addition to Cyprus and Lebanon, Italy and Greece were importers during this period, ”said Yunus Yusupov, a leading trader at Prometheus.
He also added that increasing export volumes and expanding sales markets are one of the priority areas for the development of the company.
