Agriculture is one of the main sectors that will contribute to rapid economic growth in the postwar period. Historically, Ukraine has had a well-developed manufacturing sector, but this is not enough. The country will remain attractive and competitive in the international market only if it can establish a processing industry. This was stated by Oleksandr Grachev, Chief Financial Officer of PROMETEY, during a series of workshops organized with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
"The development of the processing industry is an important area of recovery and business development, as this industry plays a key role in stimulating economic recovery and reducing the wealth gap between Ukraine and the EU countries."
He also emphasized the importance of Ukraine's integration into European environmental and climate initiatives, especially in the context of the European Green Deal and the EU-supported Ukraine Facility program for 2024-2027.
