Prometey switches to electric transport: the company has already purchased 35 new BYD cars

04.09.2025

The Prometey agricultural holding has announced the purchase of 35 BYD electric cars, which will be an important step in reducing the company's transportation costs.

Before the full-scale war, the holding's fuel costs for passenger cars exceeded UAH 8 million per year. By switching to electric transport, the company expects to reduce these costs as much as possible, bringing them close to zero.
The project involves a comprehensive approach: the use of solar panels to generate electricity, spare batteries, and, in the future, the introduction of grain transportation without fuel costs. This will allow the company to significantly reduce operating costs and increase energy efficiency.
In addition, Prometey is actively developing the implementation of artificial intelligence. AI technologies will make it possible to automate some processes and reduce the costs of maintaining a large staff.
“We chose BYD because the company offered the most favorable terms and fast delivery. This is not just a purchase of cars — it is a strategy for our survival and development. The war has posed a serious challenge to Ukrainian business, and we are responding to it with the technologies of the future,” emphasized company owner Rafael Goroyan.
