In January-November, Ukraine’s seaports processed 121 million tons of cargo (+ 0.6% against the same period a year earlier), incl. 35 million tons of grain.
This is evidenced by operational data of the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine (AMPU).
Also during the reporting period, the export of vegetable oils increased by 23.5%, amounting to 4.9 million tons.
It is noted that the volume of transshipment of import cargo increased by 24.8% compared to the previous year – up to 18.3 million tons, export – decreased by 0.4% and amounted to 90.5 million tons.
At the same time, the volume of processing of transit cargo increased by 10.7% to 10.8 million tons, and container handling increased by 3.2% to 545.4 thousand tons.
According to the report, most cargoes were handled by the ports “Yuzhny” – 38.7 million tons, “Odessa” – 21.9 million tons, “Nikolaev” – 21.3 million tons and “Chernomorsk” – 15.8 million tons, tons.
