PROMETEY Agricultural Holding has started harvesting in Mykolaiv region. Wheat harvesting has started in Bashtanka district. According to the company's chief agronomist Ilya Troitsky, this year's harvest started 10 days earlier than usual.
"This year we started harvesting wheat 10 days earlier than usual. But it was expected. Due to the early and hot spring, the wheat ripened much faster," - said Troitsky.
PROMETEY's harvest will last up to two weeks. The company expects a large and high-quality harvest. In Bashtanka district alone, 5,000 hectares of land have been planted with wheat, and the same area has been sown in the Vradiyivka cluster of the agricultural holding in Mykolaiv region.
