In 2017 Ukraine Exported 4.86 Million Tonnes of Barley

In 2017, Ukrainian agrarians exported 4.86 million tonnes of barley for $ 710.6 million.

According to the GFS, these figures are higher than in 2016 when 4.8 million tonnes of barley were shipped to foreign markets.

In monetary terms, barley exports increased by almost 7% compared to the previous year (from $ 665.9 million).

The largest importer of Ukrainian barley in 2017 was Saudi Arabia, it bought grain for $ 295.2 million, or 41.5%. The second place was taken by China – $ 123.9 million, or 17.4%. Then comes Libya with $ 58.4 million, or 8.2%.
