Prometey Group's production facilities have started sowing winter wheat.

According to Ilya Troitsky, agronomist and technologist, the company is currently using mass varieties of Odesa breeding. According to the expert, the choice of domestic varieties is not accidental, as they are more hardy than foreign ones.

The climatic situation is quite difficult, with sunny, dry weather in the South with summer temperatures that slow down seed germination.

According to forecasts, the winter crop sowing season will last at least 1.5 months.

In total, Prometey plans to sow an area of 10 thou hectares in Mykolaiv region.
