One of the most important stages of the agricultural year — the harvest — has begun in Mykolaiv region. In Bashtanka district, at the AKC production company, the Prometey team is actively harvesting winter wheat and barley. The grain has already been loaded and is on its way to the holding’s elevators — Yavkyne and Lotskyne. The weather is favorable, the machinery is operating steadily, and the team is in the fields. Everything is going according to plan.

According to the company’s chief agronomist, Illia Troitskyi, this year’s yields are generally higher than last year. This is a positive signal for the season. At the same time, he notes that the figures vary significantly depending on the specific field and production unit. Overall, yields across the region can currently be assessed as average, although some fields are showing better results.

The company expects to complete the harvest in Mykolaiv region within the next 2 weeks.
