Production enterprises of Prometey Group of Companies have almost finished sowing winter wheat, but the condition of sprouts is unsatisfactory.
According to the words of agronomist-technologist Ilya Troitsky, the reason is the maximum dry weather conditions.
"Deficiency of precipitation and lack of productive moisture in the upper layers of soil is observed almost throughout the Nikolaev region. Dry weather, without rain for a long time has led to the fact that we have only a small part of the sown areas," - states the specialist.
The amount of precipitation in August-September was much less than the norm. In addition to the southern regions, similar conditions were observed in many other regions of Ukraine.
